All classes will take place in Ralston Community Sports Centre on Penilee Road (except Zumba on Wednesday evenings, which will take place in Ralston Community Centre, Allanton Avenue).
Classes are only open to residents of Ralston over 18 years of age.

Renfrewshire Council is gathering people’s views on the bus network across Renfrewshire. It wishes to hear from people who use buses regularly, sometimes or not at all, and the feedback will inform a review being carried out into public transport provision in Renfrewshire. It will help the council to identify gaps in provision and the barriers to people using public transport so that it can consider what it can do to address these.
The council is working with independent transport consultants SYSTRA who have developed an online survey to capture people’s views. The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete and asks questions about how people travel around Renfrewshire, the experience of using buses and what improvements could be made. All responses will be confidential and respondents will remain anonymous.
The survey can be found at:
https://systraltd.welcomesyourfeedback.net/s/RenfrewshireBusStudy
The survey is open until Friday 24 November 2023.
If anyone is unable to complete the survey they can call Renfrewshire Council on 0300 300 0380 or email RenfrewshireBus@systra.com. A written copy of the survey will then be provided.
Renfrewshire Council has issued the following waiting and loading ban notice.
Address: Buchlyvie Road, Paisley between house nos 45-67 approx. 105m (both sides).
Reason for restriction: ironwork repairs.
This ban will be in force on Wednesday 8th November 2023.

Some changes
Please note that we have had to make some changes to the initial programme that we issued previously. Specifically these are:
- Yoga on Thursdays 11-11.45 should have read Chair Yoga.
- Pilates on Thursday evening will no longer take place due to a booking clash.
- We have also introduced a new course on Saturday mornings: Bootcamp with Luke – a high energy course with HIIT cardio and core workouts. This course also includes nutrition guides, recipes and a home workout plan – all specific to your individual needs.
All classes will take place in Ralston Community Sports Centre, Penilee Road PA1 3AX (except Zumba on Thursday evenings, which will take place in Ralston Community Centre, Allanton Avenue, PA1 3BL).
We would also like to highlight that neither OneRen nor Renfrewshire Council is making any money from this collaboration with Ralston Community Council. We are grateful to OneRen for waiving all hall hire and supervisor charges for these events. All the fees you pay to OneRen for taking part in a course will be totally reimbursed to Ralston Community Council and will be used to pay the instructors. We are using our new National Lottery Community Funding to subsidise the cost of the courses.
Due to the nature of this collaborative project with OneRen and our funding constrictions, the courses are only open to residents of Ralston over 18 years of age. In addition, OneRen card holders would still require to pay the enrolment fee per course.
If you have any questions, please email us at: rccclasses23@gmail.com.

All of the excellent instructors from the spring programme have agreed to return, except for pilates, where we’re delighted to welcome Kerry Stewart as our new instructor. Each class will last for 45 minutes.
Enrolment for courses will be done online through the OneRen website. A link to the enrolment page will be available shortly and will be published on this website when it becomes available. It is hoped that enrolment will open in early September.
When you enrol, OneRen will charge a fee of £30 per 10 week course. This has been heavily discounted with the help of the funding we have secured.
Because of the nature of this collaborative project with OneRen and our funding restrictions, the classes are open only to residents of Ralston over 18 years of age. In addition, OneRen card holders will still need to pay the enrolment fee.
